Call for Solution Providers: Shape the Future of Oncology Pathways!

Are you a startup or technology provider with a health tech solution that can transform clinical workflows, patient pathways, and data management in healthcare? We invite you to join a groundbreaking challenge designed to optimize oncology treatment pathways and revolutionize patient outcomes in Switzerland.

The Challenge

Today, healthcare systems are struggling to manage and analyze clinical patient data effectively. Clinical workflows, patient pathways, and referral processes within and between hospitals remain fragmented. Critical treatment-related data is typically unstructured, lacking interoperability, and difficult to analyze, leading to disparities in treatment decisions and patient outcomes.

In oncology, patients with the same diagnosis and tumor stage may receive different treatments, resulting in varied outcomes. While decisions are based on the latest clinical guidelines, individual patient pathways can’t be traced and visualized to be able to compare outcomes. To address these issues, pathway data needs to be retrieved from siloes, collected, standardized and made interoperable. This will lead to data-driven therapeutic decisions and optimize care quality and outcomes.

Our partner - a leading pharma company, in collaboration with a leading Swiss hospital - is seeking a technology partner who can support this project over the next three years.

Challenge Objective

We aim to identify innovative startups and established companies capable of serving as technology partners in this initiative. The selected company should be able to structure, describe, and visualize oncology treatment pathways within clinical settings. Knowledge of and interoperability with current clinical information systems used by Swiss hospitals is a must. The ultimate customer for this solution is the hospital itself. This partnership is designed to be mutually beneficial and centered on equal collaboration among all stakeholders.

Application Process

1. Submit Your Application:
   Interested startups and providers are invited to complete the application questionnaire. Please submit your application by January 31st, 2025.

2. Pitch Your Solution:
   Selected startups and companies will be invited to present their solutions (virtually or on-site) between February and April 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your innovation and demonstrate how your solution can enhance oncology care pathways.
