The Swiss healthcare system needs more innovation if it is to continue fulfilling its tasks in the future. A growing number of chronically ill people need medical and nursing care, which is causing costs to rise sharply. Nevertheless, patients should continue to benefit from medical progress.

Access to innovation, patient-centred care and a supporting financing system are the major challenges.

The FuW Forum «Health 2.019 — Innovation in healthcare» uses concrete examples to illustrate how different players are tackling these challenges. The forum brings them together, promotes exchange and provides international and national impetus.
