SHS Legal Insights Brunch

Live

September 29, 2026

Kellerhals Carrard, Zurich, 8:30 – 10:00 AM

Join us for our “SHS Legal Insights Brunch”, hosted by our partner Kellerhals Carrard on Tuesday, September 29 in Zurich. This edition will focus on “Privacy as a Product Feature: The Healthcare Startup Playbook” – a highly relevant topic for any healthcare startup working with sensitive health data.

What can you expect from the session?

Health data is at the heart of many healthcare innovations but it is also among the most regulated categories of information. This practical workshop gives Swiss healthcare startups a clear, actionable introduction to data-protection requirements under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will examine which rules apply when, the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved, consent and transparency requirements, automated decisions, permissible uses of health data, and the security measures needed to build compliant, trustworthy products.

Bring your questions and use the opportunity to discuss them directly with Dr. Rehana Harasgama, corporate & VC expert from the Kellerhals Carrard Startup & VC Desk – all while connecting with fellow healthcare innovators over a delicious brunch.
