Diana Hardie, CEO Swiss Healthcare Startups, digital health startup founder

Diana Hardie is a seasoned healthcare strategist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience across pharma, corporate and startup landscapes. As a co-founder and executive leader in a successful Swiss digital health startup, she has gained deep expertise in navigating the challenges and key drivers of healthcare innovation. Now, as CEO of Swiss Healthcare Startups, she fosters collaboration, mentors emerging ventures, and shapes the healthcare ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of innovation.


Dr. Renier Myburgh Co-founder , CEO & CSO of ATLyphe

With a PhD in molecular biology and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Renier Myburgh has co-founded multiple startups in Switzerland (Transcure Bioservices and Antion Biosciences), bridging the gap between cutting-edge scientific research and real-world therapeutic applications. Passionate about transforming biological discoveries into innovative treatments for unmet medical needs, he is committed to making a tangible difference in healthcare.


Lukas Jaeger, Dr. Sc. ETH, Innovation Manager, Innovation & Startup Center, University Hospital Zurich

Lukas’ passion for innovation and medicine fuels his professional journey. With profound experience from various domains within life sciences, spanning clinical and academic research, medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, and innovation promotion at ETH Zurich, he has explored diverse areas within life sciences. Now, he brings his wealth of knowledge and skills to empower innovators at University Hospital Zurich.


Michelle Tschumi, Head Start-up Finance Zürcher Kantonalbank

Michelle Tschumi, Head of Start-up Finance at Zürcher Kantonalbank, is an accomplished finance professional specializing in early-stage start-up investments at Zürcher Kantonalbanks. With 2.5 years in her current role and a background as Co-Lead of the bank’s Innovation Lab, Michelle has a deep understanding of the start-up ecosystem. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen, where she focused her research activity on Lean Hospital Management.

Michelle is passionate about the innovative potential of the Swiss healthcare market and the visionary entrepreneurs driving it. She actively supports lifescience startups through strategic partnerships, including the Health Innovation Hub at the University Hospital Zurich.


Richard Etter, Digital Health Entrepreneur

Richard Etter has built and scaled several digital health companies in the areas obesity, diabetes, mental health and surgery. He is an experienced digital health executive and board member. Earlier Richard has been a manager at a Swiss health insurer as well as at Accenture.


Regula Buob, Founder of SoftTec and Leadership Lighthouse

Regula Buob is the founder and owner of SoftTec and Leadership Lighthouse, specializing in training and coaching in leadership, startup, and scale-up support. She is also involved in EntrepreneurSkills.ch and the Ypsomed Innovation Fund, contributing to the development of entrepreneurial talent.

Until summer 2021, Regula served as the Managing Director of the W.A. de Vigier Foundation, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious startup prize programs. She is an active board member and business angel, supporting early-stage companies with strategic guidance and investment.

Regula holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Master’s in Counseling and Guidance, having studied in Switzerland and San Diego, USA. She also worked as an adjunct professor at Mesa Community College in San Diego, sharing her expertise in leadership and entrepreneurship.


Dario Silberschmidt, MLaw, Attorney-at-Law, Partner at Kellerhals Carrard

Dario Silberschmidt is a corporate lawyer specializing in technology startups, venture capital financings, and M&A transactions. He is a partner and co-head of the Startup & VC Desk team at Kellerhals Carrard in Zurich. Dario advises founders of innovative and scalable technology companies from the healthcare and many other sectors (including, in particular, university spin-offs), throughout all stages of the lifecycle — from inception and debt and equity financing rounds to founder disputes, employee participation programs, licensing agreements, and exit transactions.

He also regularly advises venture capital investors (business angels, VC funds, and corporate venture capital investors) on all aspects of their investments and throughout the entire holding period. Dario is a frequent speaker and lecturer in his field, including at ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen (HSG), conducts workshops for founders across Switzerland, and serves as a jury member at startup pitching competitions.

Prof. Dr. Cristina Rossi, Co-founder and CEO b-rayZ

Cristina Rossi holds a PhD in biophysics and has worked as a Data Analyst in academia across multiple countries, including Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. In 2019 she went on to co-found b-rayZ, a startup of the University Hospital Zurich, where she serves as the CEO, primarily overseeing fundraising and industry partnerships.
